Arrest over knife attack on youth

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 17-year-old was attacked with a knife in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

The teenager, from Cheltenham, had been with friends at an address in Sycamore Road when he was attacked by a man who came into the house.

He needed stitches to his neck after the incident which took place at about 2200 BST on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old from Tewkesbury remains in custody in Cheltenham.
